Of course I was going to start posting some of the ads I took while traveling around the world, wasn’t I?
After landing in Gatwick, we had hired a driver to pick us up and give us a whirlwind tour of London for the day, and then he would drop us off at Heathrow. We found David, of David’s Day Tours, and he was very economical, very friendly, and very flexible with us! (I actually just finished a review for him on TripAdvisor.)
We started by driving through suburbia to get to London and so napped a little. And then the whirlwind tour began. This first post of London will showcase all of the fun traditional type ads I saw along the way. The second London post will be about the creative non-traditional advertising I saw. And then, the eventual third post will be pictures from the actual whirlwind tour of London, in case you’ve never gotten to go.
Let us begin. 🙂
Ads about cars
Ads on cars
Theatre I wish we had time to see
And a movie on a bus
And a traveling ad on a traveling bus (more about busses during the whirlwind tour post as well as The Gherkin that you can see in the background)
And ads on the bus shelter
And some other uber-traditional ones
And, bringing it back and ending it with my man, Sir Richard Branson
